Community
CISEG is a non-profit association founded in Barcelona in 2017 that serves as a bridge connecting professionals in the fields of security, intelligence, and criminology. Our mission is to prevent and counter violent radicalization of jihadist origin, while providing specialized expertise and practical tools to address fanaticism, violent extremism, and the phenomenon of terrorism.
We recognize the need to establish a platform that connects the public and private sectors, bringing together professionals and organizations, academia, field research, and operational practice. This network enables a comprehensive approach to the phenomenon in all its dimensions, providing integrated support in prevention, detection, monitoring, intervention, and disruption.
CISEG is a specialized, dynamic, and collaborative community designed to meet the needs of those working directly to combat radicalization and terrorism by fostering the exchange of knowledge, best practices, and effective strategies.

TRAINING | EVENTS
CRIMINOLOGY
Deliver a technical and professional training programme that serves as a benchmark in courses, conferences, seminars, research, publications, and specialised solutions.
Publication of *Global Threat*, a radio programme focused on the broad spectrum of criminological phenomena, analysing current developments, featuring interviews with subject-matter experts, and recommending specialised literature on each topic.
MEMBERS
Provide CISEG members with personalised and rigorous support, enabling them to benefit from exclusive advantages in training, events, and the creation of professional synergies through our network of contacts.
CONSULTANCY & ANALYSIS
Provide advisory services to CISEG members and prepare reports and case analyses for external stakeholders, as well as for public and private institutions upon request, in matters relating to violent radicalisation and terrorist organisations.
PREVENTION
Train social stakeholders in prevention strategies and strengthen community resilience against violent extremism. The Community also hosts the OPRA Observatory, dedicated to the prevention of violent radicalisation.
COUNTER-NARRATIVE
Publication of *Al-Ghurabá*, the first free Spanish-language magazine dedicated to counter-narratives and the prevention of jihadist-inspired violent radicalisation.
